Dion's over at the pizza parlor Sound's like this record is on supercharger Snapping fingers to that summer party sound The room is humming to the drummer's heartbeat Outside some girls are walking down the street To myself I watch them move and carry on Everywhere I look the streets are gold The sounds come out from every radio It makes you feel alive and then you're in it See the stars before the night is finished All the people kind of moving heaven down Down on the street it's never out of true Where broken dreams steal down the avenue How fast we shuffle down the boulevard Memories wind up on the tape recorder Watch the boats that come in sailing from a far Dion's over at the pizza parlor I know iy's him i think i'll give a holler Snapping fingers to that summer party song
2.
The real sound of this world Feels like a kick in your soul The flowers are blooming On the streets again 'cause the hollow man's Already been rolled There goes the sound, the real sound of the world Just play it loud close the door go around I am you as you are me I break every chain That always had me bound The real sound of the world I am you as you are me I break every chain that always had me bound The real sound of the world Comes from underground
3.
There goes the magic sunset after the endless rain Stepping stones in gravel my home away from home Keep shining my light everywhere i go At last i'm flying free the apple landed on my head the endless raining glen Stepping stones in gravel this meandering has no end Keep shining my light everywhere i go At last i'm flying free I'm just tilting on Windmills I'm always on the edge No-one will be down enough to brainwash me again I'm here tilting at Windmills I'm tilting at Windmills

Clouds of painted air Ooops, they're everywhere Breezy puffsthat dawdle when there's really nothing there Here comes the quiet rain from a perfect sunny sky I've been watching airplanes fly Way up high / King of the sky And I go Gee, the sky is blue Gonna take you for a ride The sun 's like me today Later tonight the moon's like you I've been watching airplanes fly Way up high / King of the sky I've been watching airplanes fly Way up high / King of the sky And I go... And I go / and I go / and I go...
5.
Tell me the things that we whispered once haven't died undone Pick up the pieces of places you've traveled around the sun Every moment you laugh Is a opening for someone I'm on the street looking up at you window one-on-one Even the wild things roaming around in the night aren't free They've all got antennas with eyes in the back of their head to see Still something will cross their path bringing all of them to their knees Darlin' before I go Pick up your eyes / at least just say hello I wandered in here for the way was clear and the glass all clean And sat on the porch with the torch of a thousand cold missing dreams Life is so strange sometimes I doesn't feel like it seems Darlin' before I go Pick up your eyes / at least just say hello Ome of the guys downtown wanna throw me a bon boyage They've hired a band and put up a stage in an old garage Darlin' before I go Pick up your eyes / at least just say hello Darlin' you can't ask why Pick up your eyes You know you've gotta try
6.
Take me to the magic creek where all my dreams can't hurt 'cause i'm a different kind of man A misfit trapped in the wrong place Take me to the magic creek I am pure as the driven snow If good dreams come to Those who wait then I've been waiting for too long The skyscrapers can hold grey clouds... but soon they'll fall! Take me to the magic creek where all my dreams can't hurt I'm a different kind of man I want to meet your god now The skyscrapers can hold grey clouds the sun was rising When I thought taht it's too late to be just "sane" You think by now that i'd be dead but this has only just begun
7.
Rain, rain, rain / here it comes again It gives me life and makes me feel alright Let the heavy rain, downpour It will give you peace and will make you feel alright It will give you peace and will make you feel alright Let the heavy rain, downpour I never felt so lonely before It's the first day of the rest of my life Hey girl, guess you are going through the same SO let's make it fun and dramatic at the same time And don't cry / enjoy the rain And maybe one day we'll find each other again

I spell that i was under some forgotten scene The actor wouldn't speak his mind I remember underneath the light sublime what I was thinking in my brain I can only sigh with that shadow of your eye Just when you feel you've been set free another door without a key... appears The play goes on with or wothout you The understudy knows your lines The moment when you know for certain It's time to open up the blinds underneath the lights sublime What i was thinking in my brain i can only sigh within tah shadow of your eye Just when you feel you've been set free anothe door without a key now the end draws nigh I thought i had down this time just when you feel you've been set free another door without a key... appears
9.
I was alone in my footsteps of stone breaking I picked up the phone stating Number unknown explaining Just call me back when you get home I don't know your world and I can't see your world if I'm Outside your world / just a stranger And I can't feel your world and the World isn't real if you're here in a world you can't foresee Then I go tumbling a round eyery corner just wainting a long time and the day's growing shorter as the Last subway's roaring down the line I don't know your world and I can't see your world if I'm Outside your world / just a stranger and I can't feel your world and the World isn't real if you're here in a world you can't foresee Here comes the guitar player Breaks in a thousand pieces RIght there in public for the on looking weary faces He doesn't have left many strings I don't know your world and I can't see your world if I'm Outside your world / just a stranger and I can't feel your world and the World isn't real if you're here in a world you can't foresee
10.
I... I will never fall in love again but if you miss me you can find me where the sheep wool piles up The sunset came it took me here shaking off the daze Life is good so run away from fools who take the lead I'm in the sheep shed I'm the anchorite I'm singing from a place where the smell of damp earth always hits me but if you miss me you can find me where the goals climb high I'm a monk in my head I'm the sheep shed I'm the anchorite I'm the sheep shed

The importance of partnership in music can’t be underestimated. Paul McCartney admitted working alone in his recording studio took twice the time absent another person to spur him on.
As we embarked on our project, Ramirez Exposure and I entered an atmosphere passing the creative baton back and forth across the ocean. This collaboration procedure proved to be both inspiring and productive.
With file sharing so easy now an entire group can produce music together from multiple locations and seamlessly stitch it into a rock steady sonic landscape. Guest artists may contribute from their own home studios blending inspired performances to the whole. Mixing
and mastering engineers with fresh ears can finalize the project into a super finale.
Ramirez Exposure’s “off the beaten trail” Mellotron and unique vocalizations were highly anticipated each new recording session I received from Spain!
I in turn shaped my contribution to his compositions with great care and execution in order to keep things rolling along smoothly.
We both hope the fans will approve and enjoy the trip with us!

Thoughts about the the song ‘Tape Recorder’:

I had the opportunity to be the opening act for a Dion show in a New York City night spot called Kenny’s Castaways when I was 20 years old. It was on the Upper East Side.

Dion actually watched my set. “You’re good, you’re good” he repeated in a reassuring manner... You never forget those moments. He was and still is pop music’s number one voice from the 1960’s. While Elvis was in the Army, Dion was manning the fort here on the American charts.
In 1989 I went to hear him at Southhampton College when he was on a lecture story telling tour... no music. He focused in on his life, the Winter Dance Party which took the lives of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper that he had also been a part of but escaped tragedy due to a coin toss and was not on the plane that crashed.

In 2009, while living in Florida, I got to hang out with Dion in Boca Raton where he resided. We went out to brunch one Saturday morning just the two of us. My mind was literally spinning sitting there listening to his stories... His latest recordings are as good as ever... How could I
not be tempted to write a song about a fellow artist and true mentor like Dion ... John Lennon knew Dion’s place in music too... Dion’s picture is one of those featured on the cover of Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.

To be connected to both Buddy Holly and The Beatles says it all.
Dion’s chilling performance on his recording of Abraham, Martin and John with it’s solemn beauty would pour over the car speakers whenever it came on the radio... Dion has lifted me
up to the very stars ever since I first heard his ground breaking hit single, recorded with The Belmonts “I Wonder Why”
I don’t wonder why.
Marc Jonson

Just after leaving high school, Marc was awarded his first solo recording
contract with Vanguard Records and soon released his self produced
album, 'YEARS'. After a few small tours, he hit the New York City streets
and began playing the Greenwich Village club scene. He was quickly
recognized as a strong creative force among his peers. RCA Record's
rockabilly sensation, Robert Gordon was first to pick up on Marc's
songwriting abilities by recording three of Marc's songs, including the
title song on his RCA release, 'ARE YOU GONNA BE THE ONE'.
Next, Warner Brothers Records, The Roches recorded Marc's inspired, 'LOVE RADIATES AROUND', which went on to be nominated for 'Song of the Year' by the New York Music/BMI Awards. Paul Butterfield took his turn at a Marc Jonson composition and released 'BAD LOVE'
on his Amherst Records release, 'The Legendary Paul Butterfield Rides Again'. Then came Capitol Records, Dave Edmunds reading of Marc's rave up rocker 'KING OF LOVE'. During this period, Marc won 'Best New Songwriter' at the New York Music/BMI Awards. He has
also performed and written for Disney's block-buster companion CDs, 'Finding Nemo', 'Cars', and 'Ratatouille'. His catalogue of songs has been recorded and performed by numerous major label
artists including: Shawn Colvin, Lucy Kaplinsky, Willie Nile, Richard Barone, Richard Lloyd, Gunner Nelson, Carolyne Mas, Steve Forbert, Suzanne Vega and the Smithereens.

Ramírez Exposure is all about fresh guitars, sixties-style backing
vocals, pop synths and zero additives. Defined by The Line Of Best
Fit as the “Spanish power-pop wunderkind”, Ramírez has worked with
a number of artists such as Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, Big Star,
R.E.M.), Marc Jonson, Richard Lloyd (Television), Skylar Gudasz ,
Todd Herfindal or Brian Young (Fountains Of Wayne, Ivy, The Jesus
And Mary Chain).Live, he has played festivals such as SXSW, FIB
Benicàssim or Monkey Week and performed with international acts
such as Nada Surf, The Posies, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart,
Jacco Gardner or Luna. An official showcasing artist at Official SXSW
2017 Complete Playlist, Chicago's WBEZ included him amongst the
festival's highlights: “Ramirez Exposure brought an unexpected intensity and a riveting charisma to the jangly power-pop of his albums". [...] he elevated sounds that could have been overly genteel or so inward-looking as to be solipsistic into something everyone could celebrate.”. His albums ‘Book Of Youth’ (2015), Young Is The New Old (Munster, 2017) and ‘Exit Times’ (2021, Lovemonk) are the absolute proof of his unique talent.
